Obituary for Joe G Flores

Joe was born on November 15, 1942 in Delagua Colorado, he passed away on June 21, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family.

Joe and Emma moved to Broomfield shortly after they were married, this July they would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Here, they raised a family and lived until he passed away.

Joe retired from IBM and spent much of his life volunteering. He also owned and ran several of his own businesses. Joe was also very active in the running community and had a genuine love for traveling and adventures.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Netty and father Joe, his son Tyler, his father in law Manual, his brothers Lupe, Pete and Johnnie, his sisters Frances and Pauline. He is survived by his wife Emma, daughter Robin (Eric Sr.), daughter Mona (Jason), his grandchildren Izzy, Eric, Parker, Beaux, Derek, mother in law Agustina, brother David, sisters Alice, Linda and Louise and many lovely nieces and nephews.

Joe was loved by many. There was plenty of love to go around. He loved his wife and his children and was very proud of his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered as a man with a big heart.

A celebration of life will be held at
Northgate Event Center & Taproom
3880 South Lowell Blvd. Denver, CO 80236
on Wednesday July 10th immediately following his service at Fort Logan. All are welcome, it will be a time for family and friends to share their favorite memories of Joe.
