GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Cynthia Jo Dix (Cindy) age 70 passed away peacefully on November 13th 2019. Cindy was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She attended and graduated from North High School. Her early years of working was working for her Aunt and Uncle at Englewood Speedway. She did a lot of things working there but her specialty was making cotton candy. After becoming a mother she went and worked for King Soopers in 1976 where she proudly retired in 2015.
She was a loving and doting mother to her son Daniel W. Dix (Ann) and her adopted son Josh Vanlips. Where she threw her greatest energies and devotions were to her three grandchildren Kyle Dix, Rylie Dix and Logan Dix. Those three were her world. Anyone that knew Cindy knew her door was always open. She played many roles as a mother figure, friend, caretaker and confidant. Her home was your home and you became part of her family. Her love and friendship had no boundaries. She was always there with a smile and a hug. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother Jack McDermott, son Dan (Ann), son Josh and grandchildren Kyle, Rylie and Logan.
